To scuba dive safely, your respiratory and circulatory systems must be in good health. A person with coronary disease, epilepsy, a severe medical problem, or one who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs should not dive.
If you have asthma, heart disease, other chronic medical conditions or you are taking medications on a regular basis, you may still be able to participate in the program—you just need to consult with your doctor and program leader before participating, and on a regular basis thereafter upon completion.
The experience of the Program is unique to each participant and there is no way to predict in advance exactly what you may think or feel. It is normal for some people to experience unwanted or unfamiliar emotions from time to time, such as fear, anger, sadness, regret, irritation and impatience. For most participants, exploring thoughts and feelings they have not fully explored before is a useful and positive learning experience.
If you are unwilling to encounter any of these powerful experiences in yourself or in others, or if you have any concern about your ability to deal with such experiences, we recommend you do not participate in the program. You acknowledge and understand that the program was designed for people who clearly understand they are responsible for their own health and well-being before, during and after the program.
You personally assume all risks while you are a participant in this program. You release, exempt and hold harmless Jason Sugar from any claim or lawsuit by you, your family, estate, heirs or assigns, arising out of your enrolment and participation in this program.
You have read, understood and agree to all the terms and conditions contained in the PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding, the PADI Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement, and the PADI Medical Statement.
Jason Sugar shall not be liable for failure in the performance of any of its obligations, including without limitation, for any loss or damage resulting from any delay, cancellation, loss of personal belongings, illness, bodily injury, accident, death, deterioration of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, either mental or physical, due to an Act of God or Force Majeur, fire, flood, explosion, earthquake, epidemics, quarantine, storm, lightning, tornado or adverse weather conditions.
